Three decades of collaboration built a level of trust and efficiency which defined the sessions. Working largely from his Seattle area studio, Shelton often guided the project independently and helped realize the album’s clearest expression\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\"\u003e to date.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eGuitarist Bruce Hazen appears on every track, building on years of shared history across multiple albums and bands. His twin guitar interplay with Jim Basnight reaches its peak here, driving the record’s energy and cohesion. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSongs were written to suit Jim's mature voice, resulting in confident leads and rich lower harmonies. Additional backing vocals from Cathy Sorbo and Suze Sims filled gaps and added character, while Shelton contributed harmonies and percussion.
